won the tender of the Government of Republic of
Macedonia (www.gov.mk) for providing free trainings for
more than 7000 citizens for using PCs. This tender is
part of the big campaign of the Government , “Macedonia
country of Information Technology”. |

Visit of Roger Cowdrey to YES Incubator |
|
Roger Cowdrey, an experienced professor, business
consultant and incubator manager from UK, had two hour
group training with the tenants. The topic was “Ten top
tips for successful business”, in which he pointed out
some useful tips for the tenants, in order to make their
business more successful, i.e. profitable. |

Trainings in the Incubator |
|
In terms of improving the tenant’s business skills, two
group trainings were organized for the tenant companies.
The subjects of the trainings were “How to create and
structure a good presentation” and “How to become a
desirable partner” and were held by Trajkovski &
Partners consulting company. The first training was two
day training and was both theoretical, and practical. |

Software Laboratory is a new company that will sale
already established software products such as fax
servers (www.activefax.com.mk),
CRM, CMS and E-Commerce Applications (www.creacity.com.mk
and
www.gatewaytechnolabs.com). The company DIS – DATA
is the second company that work as a reseller of
hardware and development of software application that
will support the marketing business i.e. e-marketing. |

During May, three new companies were selected to enter
the Incubator and use its services. One of the companies
is DTS Corp (www.dtscorporation.net).
DTS Corp is young and creative company which goal is
enabling fast, easy and simple access to information for
everybody. |

Grant fund for the tenants and potential tenants of the Incubator |
|
Business idea developers and the tenant companies at YES
incubator are eligible to apply for a grant up to EUR
1,500 from the YES foundation small grants fund in order
to start a company or to undertake their projects. To be
eligible for funding, a project or startup company must
be an original piece of work from ICT field. |

three lateral agreement was signed for starting a pilot
project for opening SEEU/BDC - YES Business Incubator in

According to its strategic priorities, Foundation Open

decided to support a credit line for start-up
businesses. These credits will be aimed just for the

entrepreneurial ideas established as legal companies in

Starting from the 1st of December until 22nd the second
round of training sessions for EBCL will be held in the
YES Incubator premises. The participants, mainly from

for modules business law, costing and pricing, ratios

Planning of the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2008 |
Macedonia is one of at least 37 countries from across
the globe which will take part in the first global
celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit in November
2008.
At the planning event which took place on the 14th of
September in London, representatives from more than 37
countries, among which YES Foundation (www.yesincubator.org.mk)
from Macedonia attended this event and jointly discussed
the next year’s event organization in all those

Conference and the 4th MASIT Open Days events were held
